How We Work

ROSHNI Foundation is a capacity building and training organization. ROSHNI is a collective of young professionals working in different sectors just like you all, who want to bring social change through collective action.

As Young Professionals though we professionally work in different sectors but we come together on weekends, holidays and days available from our respective professional work schedule to contribute our facilitating and training skills with respect to ROSHNI Foundation’s focus areas to achieve measurable impact.

We strengthen the capacity of civil society organisations to represent the rights of communities at local, national and international levels. In doing so, we support civil society in playing its crucial role to make sustainable changes towards a healthy life for all.

Our Interventions Are Focused On The Following Verticals:

Communities

We engage with people and create awareness at the community level about sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and water, sanitation, hygiene (WASH) and civic issues. We emphasise social inclusion and gender equality to encourage the removal of sociocultural barriers which have a significant impact on the health and well-being of women, girls and socially excluded groups.

Civil Society

To strengthen the movement, we enhances the skills of our partners to work with other civil society actors, pass on their knowledge to other stakeholders. We encourage them and connect with platforms and networks which engage in constructive dialogue.
