ROSHNI Foundation is a non-profit organisation, focused on mentoring and enabling adolescents, youths, men, women and transgender on issues around menstrual hygiene, sexual reproductive health rights. And also working to reduce gender-based violence, protection of rights of differently abled and LGBTQIA+, advocacy and policy research; enabling women, youth and educators as peace builders in the communities and inspire them to actively participate in strengthening democracy to build a better World.

ROSHNI Foundation is a capacity building and training organization. Our capacity building initiative for educators not only aims in developing knowledge but also aims to develop critical understanding of the educators as it helps participants to link issues of gender, sexuality, reproductive health and development with the larger structural and systemic issues like patriarchy, caste-class-religion-based discrimination and violence, globalization and economic changes, nationalism and peace building.

Dr Muthulakshmi Reddy was the first female Indian member of a Legislative Council in India and the first woman medical graduate in India. She started the Avvai Home and Orphanage and also the Cancer Institute (WIA), Chennai. Both are active to this day.

Five year's ago i.e. on 09/08/2014 Pune University was renamed as Savitribai Phule Pune Vidhyapeeth. This was a historic occasion and a moment of happiness as the varsity was been finally renamed after the social reformer. देश विदेशातील गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षणाचे केंद्र म्हणून पुर्वेकडील ऑक्सफर्ड असा नावलौकिक मिळवलेल्या पुणे विद्यापीठाची ओळख ९ ऑगस्ट २०१४ रोजी "साविञीबाई फुले पुणे विद्यापीठ" अशी झाली. आज या गोष्टीला ५ वर्ष पुर्ण होत आहेत. पुणे शहराच्या दृष्टीने हा क्षण ऐतिहासिक होता. एकोणिसाव्या शतकातील प्रमुख शिक्षणतज्ञ साविञीबाई फुले यांचे नाव पुणे विद्यापीठाला देऊन त्यांच्या कार्याचा यथोचित सन्मान केला. ...

Congratulations ISRO - Indian Space Research Organisation 🇮🇳 for Chandrayaan-2.
Chandrayaan-2 is the first lunar mission to have been led by women scientists, with 30% charge of the mission with them.
Muthayya Vanitha ji is the first woman project director of ISRO, who has the heavy burden of handling the mission. Ritu Karidhal ji , the mission director of Chandrayaan-2 was the Deputy Operations Director for the Mars mission. She is responsible for the spacecraft's outward autonomy system mission.
